ASUS has announced that the Asus Eee PC T91 will be compatible with Windows 7 but will initially ship with Windows XP and Asus’ own touchscreen technology software. We already saw the touchscreen technology software interface at the T91 at CES 2009 in January. A preview of this interface can be seen in the video below.
Windows 7 upgrades are a possibility, according to Asus, and in the longer term the company expects the Asus Eee PC T91 to ship with Windows 7 only. The operating system is built for touch screen technology and will thus perfectly run on the T91. To see how Windows 7 looks, check out this first look video showing the touch interface:
